Coastal Weekend Getaway: Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana
August 5, 2017The 54th annual Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana is one of the largest events in the area. The celebration began as a way to show appreciation for harvest workers at the end of the season. The city of Woodburn has continued the tradition this weekend (August 4 – 6), hosting three days of family-friendly activities, plenty of food, as well as vendors from all over the region.
Plenty of the Coastal Farm & Ranch crew attend each year. This time, we sent out our cameras to capture some of the fun. If you’ve never been to this event, try to get out on Sunday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Or mark your calendar for next year’s event happening on the first weekend in August.
Admission
Free all day on Friday. Free until 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. After 5:00pm, $5 per person age 11 & older. 10 & under are free.

From Portland, take I-5 South to exit 271. Turn left onto Newberg Hwy. Proceed 3 miles. Turn right on Park Avenue. Legion Park will be on the right.
From Salem, take I-5 North to exit 271. Turn right onto Newberg Hwy. Proceed 3 miles. Turn right on Park Avenue. Legion Park will be on the right.
