How to Make Oven Roasted Sweets & Beets

Fall is the perfect time of year for comfort food that’s both yummy and packed with vitamins and nutrients. Pick up a large sweet potato, some beets, and a yam and match this dish with your next main course. You’ll find the complete recipe below the video.


Oven Roasted Sweets & Beets

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 large yam
  • 6 small beets
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. While that is heating up, peel and chop your veggies (sweet potato, beets, yam) into small, evenly sized chunks. Place them into a dish lined with parchment paper.

Sprinkle your veggies with the seasonings and oil.

Mix together and place into the oven for 15 minutes.

After banking, toss all of the ingredients again and place back into the oven for another 15 minutes or until slightly browned.

Serve and enjoy.
