3 Ways to Enjoy Chocolate Chip Cookies Made on a Traeger

August 6, 2019

If you like chocolate chip cookies, you’re going to love this Traeger recipe and three yummy suggestions on how to enjoy the finished product. A set of directions and a short list of ingredients can be found below the how-to video.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ stick butter (softened)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then set the mixture aside.

Using another bowl, beat the butter until fluffy. Add the brown sugar, sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the butter. Then, gradually mix the flour into the dough. Once combined, add the chocolate chips.

Line a cookie sheet with alumni foil. Then, place spoon sized balls of the dough onto the sheet, separating them by several inches. Start your Traeger grill on smoke with the lid open until the fire is established. This takes 4 to 5 minutes. Increase temperature to 350ºF and preheat with lid closed for 10 minutes. Bake the cookies for 17 minutes or until golden brown.
