Safety is a priority. The decocker allows for the safe release of a cocked hammer. The firing pin block secures the firing pin against movement until the trigger is pulled. A double-action trigger with light and smooth trigger travel in both modes has been a standard feature on our guns for many decades. The longer travel in double-action mode also serves as a safety feature.

The grip builds on the already legendary ergonomics of the CZ 75 and takes it a step further. Like the standard CZ SHADOW 2, the CZ SHADOW 2 CARRY model fits hands like a glove. Its sport genes are simply undeniable. Placement and design of the controls make them easy to reach, while maintaining carrying comfort.

The Shield RMSc Optics-Ready interface allows red dot sights to be mounted directly on the slide, without the use of a plate. This allows the red dot sight to sit closer to the barrel axis, helping to make shooting even more instinctive.

Fixed sights as "backup". In the event that the red dot sight stops working, you can rely on fixed sights that remain in place on the gun, even with mounted optics. Fixed iron sights with luminescent dots remain as a "backup", even after mounting a red dot sight.

The durable forged alloy frame is machined from forged EN AW-7075 T6 aluminum alloy, which is also used for the frames of CZ select fire rifles.
