Coastal Urban Growing Grant Details & Criteria

Coastal Urban Growing Grants fund urban, renewable, sustainable projects such as chickens, beekeeping, worm composting, raised bed gardening, Consumer Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiatives, wetlands reclamation, and wildlife habitat projects.

A total of four $1,000 grants will be awarded

Grants are open to all Oregon FFA chapters across the state

Projects must benefit the chapter and be open to participation by all members.

Applications will be accepted one time each year

To apply for this grant, please include a project budget. Project materials that are available through Coastal should be purchased from Coastal. Project budget form can be downloaded here.

All chapters that receive a grant are required to send photos and a recap of their project by the close of the school year the grant was received. Send photos to Oregon FFA Foundation at foundation@oregonffa.com. Chapters that do not, will not be considered for a future grant until a recap of prior project
